Jessica confirmed for KBS2 drama ‘Violence Romance’!


Jessica is confirmed to make her drama debut along with actor Lee DongWook in KBS2′s drama ‘Violent Romance’, which will kick off on January 4th.
On December 23rd, production staff of the drama told TV Daily through a teleconversation, “Jessica will taking the role of Kang JongHee, who is the ex-lover of Lee DongWook’s character in the drama. She is expected to make appearances in 8 episodes.”

In ‘Violent Romance’, Jessica’s character Kang JongHee is Lee DongWook’s first love whom he could not forget.

Meanwhile, Jessica’s acting skill has been proven from her role in musical ‘Legally Blonde’. Besides, YoonA and Sooyoung, Jessica is the 3rd member of Girls’ Generation who has been confirmed for a drama stint this year.

[SHOWS] Girls’ Generation teaches the Dangerous Boys to dance!


Girls’ Generation takes up the roles of dance teachers for the five boys from JTBC’s ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’, who have taken up the challenge of the dance competition ‘Street Jam’.

In the previous episode, with the help of psychiatrist, Girls’ Generation has advised the boys to compete in ‘Street Jam’ in order to give them a common goal.

The five boys, who have never danced before, were surprised by their first mission; to participate in the dance competition.

When Girls’ Generation tested the boys for their basic dance skills, it foreshadowed the hard times ahead.

Before the actual competition, the five boys will be dancing to ‘The Boys’, the song of their mentors, in order to test their possible improvements in dancing.

It is also heard that despite their tight schedules, Girls’ Generation made a surprise visit to the boys.

This episode will be aired on December 25th at 7.30pm on JTBC. The boys are participating in the ‘Street Jam’ competition, where the top dancers of Korea competes, which will take place on February 5th.

[Sunny] Old couple suggested to Sunny to get married



The word ‘marriage’ left Sunny blushing with embarrassment.

On KBS 2TV’s ‘Invincible Youth 2′ aired on December 17th, the G8 girls consisting of Sunny, Hyoyeon, Kara’s Kang JiYoung, miss A’s Suzy, Sistar’s Bora, f(x)’s Amber, Rainbow’s WooRi and Jewelry’s YeWon were responsible for delivering Kimchi to the residents of the village.

Sunny who was with Ji HyunWoo to deliver the Kimchi greeted an old couple politely and had a chat with them. Sunny said to the old couple, “Wah, if you got married at the age of 23, that is about my age”. Upon hearing Sunny’s reaction, the old couple responded, “In that case, you should be getting married as well”.

Feeling rather shy due to the remarks, Sunny put her hands on her face and eventually laughed it off to get rid of the awkward atmosphere.

Girls’ Generation means everything to Taeyeon



Leader Taeyeon stated that she has no plan to be a solo artist, revealing her strong attachment and commitment to Girls’ Generation.
On KBS 2TV’s ‘Happy Together Season 3′ aired on December 15th, Girls’ Generation (Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Seohyun), Kim GunMo and Yoon IlSang made an appearance on this ‘National Singers Special’ episode.
During the broadcast, Taeyeon was asked, “Don’t you want to do your own solo activities?”, of which she replied, “No. I’m thankful to the members who helped me during broadcasts and thus, there is no burden”.
She further explained, “The other members helped to cover the areas where I’m not good at. I think group activities suits me much better than solo activities”.
On the question about which member is the prettiest, the girls replied, “We couldn’t single anyone out. Every member in the group has their very own beauty”, expressing their satisfaction towards the group’s charms, just like how one feel towards a gift set.
Meanwhile, in this episode, there were other issues being discussed such as Sooyoung’s complex confession, arguments which broke out between Taeyeon and Tiffany as well as Hyoyeon and Seohyun.

[NEWS] Girls’ Generation show you their athleticism and wit!


On KBS ‘Let’s Go Dream Team 2′ aired on November 6th, viewers were treated with the return match between ‘The Dream Team’ and ‘Yamakasi Champion Team’. During the broadcast, the preview video of next week’s episode which features all 9 members of Girls’ Generation was revealed.

The theme for next week’s episode is ‘Girls’Generation Olympics’ and the girls will be competing in 200m race walking, 1 on 1 Tower Staking, High Bar Wrestling and various other sports events.

[NEWS] Actor Kim ByungSe made a surprise confession to Jessica on ’1000 Songs Challenge’


Sunny, Jessica and Sooyoung will be making an appearance on ’1000 Songs Challenge’.

The preview of next week’s episode which features Girls’ Generation was aired during the broadcast of SBS ’1000 Songs Challenge’ on November 6th. On next week’s episode, actor Kim ByungSe made a sudden confession by saying, “I only like Jessica”.

Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Jessica to Appear on ‘Radio Star’


Three musical stars of Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Jessica, are to appear on “Radio Star”.

The three girls will appear on an upcoming episode of “Radio Star”, a corner of MBC’s “Golden Fishery”, on November 9th. They will have a talk battle against the four MCs, Kim Gookjin, Kim Goora, Yoon Jongshin, and Kyuhyun.

This will be the first time for any Girls’ Generation member to appear on an official talk show since they began their third album promotions.

This episode of “Radio Star”, which is themed as a Musical Star Special, was already recorded on November 2nd. Besides Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Jessica, Park Haemi and Im Taekyung were there as well.

There has been talk that the guests on the show make surprising remarks, making the entire studio burst in laughter throughout.

One representative of “Radio Star” said, “The atmosphere of the recording was very good because everybody burst in laughter unexpectedly,” and also hinted, “Of course Girls’ Generation was funny, but Park Haemi, who is usually known for her witty remarks, was no different. Im Taekyung was unexectedly a tough rival as well.”
